Welcome to what was Langley Chapter of *.*.*. web site
I have been ordered by the dealership to relinquish my web master position for this chapter.
The Dealership representative has stated that the web master position
will be turned over to the Director
I do not know if he has the necessary experience with web sites to
maintain this site as no one will answer that question.
Did the chapter members get to vote on either of these position changes?
I have spent many hours creating this web site into something that many
chapter members, feel works for us as a riding club.
I believe that with all the help I have received from other chapter members,
this web site has become a successful endeavor.
If a member is willing to serve their chapter and has done nothing wrong to
injure the chapter or the hosting dealership in any way, why then would
they be asked to step down from their position?
Apparently the decision to replace this site with a new one has been
made
by the dealership based on requirements the
Marketing Dept. has placed on me.
I am sorry to all the members of this chapter that will be affected,
by this dealership decision, to have the web site shut down.
Explanations should be provided to the chapter members
for the decisions the executive make, based on
dealership involvement, regarding this issue.
There are always two sides to a story and I believe you
deserve to hear them both.
